Perth, boasting its newest Test venue, has already witnessed four Tests, all of which ended in victories for the home side. While India graced the stadium during their 2018-19 tour, it’s notable that no Test fixture was scheduled during their last visit in 2020-21.

The spotlight will shine on the second Test, a Day/Night encounter slated for Border-Gavaskar Trophy December 6 in Adelaide. Memories of India’s previous pink-ball Test in Adelaide, where they were bundled out for a mere 36 runs, still linger. However, this time around, they have a luxurious nine-day gap to meticulously prepare for the unique challenges posed by the pink ball under lights.

The Gabba in Brisbane, Border-Gavaskar Trophy renowned as Australia’s impregnable fortress, witnessed a remarkable breach by the visiting Indian side during their last encounter. This historic venue will host the third Test, promising yet another enthralling chapter in the storied rivalry between the two cricketing powerhouses.

Tradition reigns supreme as the series culminates with the iconic Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the New Year’s Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). These revered venues will set the stage for the final battles where the teams will leave no stone unturned in their quest for supremacy.

Before the much-anticipated clash between India and Australia, Pakistan is set to tour Australia, adding to the cricketing fervor Down Under. The visitors will engage in a series of six white-ball encounters, marking a departure from their previous focus on Test cricket during their 2023-24 tour. The action-packed series will feature three Day/Night one-day games at the MCG, the Adelaide Oval, and the Perth Stadium, followed by a thrilling three-match T20I series culminating on November 18.

As cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the commencement of these exhilarating encounters, the cricketing landscape in Australia promises to be vibrant and electrifying, setting the stage for a riveting season of cricketing battles.
