Mark showcased a stellar performance in Syracuse’s 14-6 victory against then-No. 20 Delaware on March 16, racking up a season-high 17 saves. This achievement stands as Mark’s most impressive display since March 5, 2023, when he amassed 22 saves in a match against Duke, albeit ending in a loss.

The fifth-year goalie played a pivotal role in orchestrating Syracuse’s stellar defensive performance, ranking as the team’s second-best defensive outing of the season. With just six goals conceded, it marked SU’s most formidable defensive display since their February 10 triumph over Manhattan, where they yielded a mere three goals. Mark’s unwavering presence between the posts limited Delaware to just one goal in the second half, while orchestrating a remarkable 31-minute stretch during which the Blue Hens were held scoreless.

As the season progresses, Mark’s statistics continue to impress. Currently, he boasts the 14th-best goals allowed per game average in the nation, standing at 9.93. Additionally, his 103 saves position him as the sixth-ranked goalkeeper in Division I in terms of total saves.

Mark’s outstanding performance not only solidifies his status as a standout goalkeeper but also underscores Syracuse’s defensive prowess as they continue to navigate the challenges of the season.
